Aprovecho Research Center www.aprovecho.net
Aprovecho offers a semester long 'internship' program where one can learn about permaculture, sustainable forestry and appropriate technology (biodiesel and wood burning stoves, solar cooking, renewable energy... etc.) for tuition of $1000. Interns live in a strawbale dormitory 5 miles outside of Cottage Grove, OR. You also can do work trade here.
