From Miller Farm

Welcome to Miller Farm!

We are a rural, college-based intentional community with a focus on community development and sustainable agriculture. As part of the Earlham College (http://www.earlham.edu/) campus in Richmond, Indiana, Miller Farm houses at least 9 students during the school year who are responsible for maintaining the property, the various projects it promotes, and the permanent (animal) residents. There is a lot involved in living at Miller Farm. We are divided up into committees that oversee various parts of the farm's operation. We also hold regular events to involve the broader Earlham and Richmond community in what we do.

Farm Day and Ag Meeting

The main functions of Miller Farm are Farm Day and Ag Meeting. To help get things done on the farm and involve the larger community in what we're doing, we hold Farm Day every Saturday at 10:00 am. Come work for 2-3 hours and get rewarded with a free delicious lunch! We run a shuttle from the Clear Creek Coop (on Earlham campus) just before 10:00. May Term and Summer Housing

Interested in working outside and taking ownership of some awesome gardens during the summer? We need dedicated Earlham students to live at Miller Farm over each summer and take care of the gardens and animals. Rent is not cheap but the produce is yours to eat! Check out the housing page for more information! As well, this year is the first to have three farm interns this summer. Free housing and a stipend is provided. To help feed our hard working farm helpers, we need your SAGA meals! Come to Farm Day this Saturday and sign up, or better yet, e-mail us (http://www.earlham.edu/webteam/resources/eav/?u=farmers) your name and Earlham Student ID number!
